What we collect, what we do not, and how to ask us about it.

Aged Care HQ is an information website. We collect as little as possible.

What we collect

  • Nothing you have to give us. There are no accounts, no logins and no forms required to read anything here.
  • Email you send us. If you email us, we hold that email and our reply so we can deal with your enquiry.
  • Basic server logs. Pages visited, referring site, approximate location, browser type. Our host records these to serve the site. We use them to see which guides are useful, not to identify individuals. As at 2 September 2026 we run no analytics product and no third party tracking of any kind. If we add analytics we will update this page first.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell or rent personal information.
  • We do not pass your details to aged care providers, brokers or placement services.
  • We do not run advertising trackers that profile you across other sites.

Cookies

As at 2 September 2026 this site sets no cookies at all. It loads no JavaScript and no third party trackers. The only external resource any page requests is the web font files from Google Fonts. If we ever add cookies for aggregate measurement, they will be blockable without losing access to anything, and we will update this page before turning them on.

Third party links

We link to government and community organisations. Once you follow a link you are on their site and their privacy policy applies.

Your rights

We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). You can ask what we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing hello@agedcarehq.com.au. If you are unhappy with our response you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
