Aged Care HQ is an independent publisher. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of the Australian Government, My Aged Care, Services Australia, or the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission. Where we describe how a government program works, the official source is authoritative and we link to it.
Figures change
Aged care fee thresholds, contribution rates and funding amounts are indexed at least twice a year, on 20 March and 20 September. Any figure on this site is indicative and correct as at the review date shown on the page. Confirm current amounts with My Aged Care on 1800 200 422 or through the official fee estimator before making a financial decision.
Accuracy and corrections
We write from primary sources and cite them. We still make mistakes. If you find one, email hello@agedcarehq.com.au and we will check it against the source and correct it.
